Birney Car 2837 was renumbered from 837 after the PCC cars assumed the 800 series in 1947. It was one of four such cars to get renumbered and the only one to receive the new paint scheme. It is shown here on the Woodward shuttle line, the last Birmingham Birney operation on March 16 1949.
