4251 - 4455 series cars on a westbound A Lake past Tower 18 after leaving the Loop in April 1964.
At the time the photo was taken, both tracks in the Loop ran counterclockwise, with Lake on the inner loop. Note the eastbound stopping post to protect Tower 18; you can see the switch for eastbound cars to turn southbound before this post.
