PCC 451 leaving Granite City on June 20 1958, the last day of trolley and passenger train service on the IT. The Red Arrow considered buying the 8 IT PCCs (451-57) in 1964 but rejected them because of their poor condition after they were stored for 6 years. Instead, Red Arrow converted the Ardmore line to bus. Car 451 is now located at the Connecticut Trolley Museum at East Windsor CT.
