320 on the U line at Vermont in 1947 I surmise this car was a southbound short turn at 39th and Vermont OR the car is at Slauson and Central (it looks more like the former to me but I dont remember a center of track safety zone there).
The U line Vermont portion ran from Exposition Blvd to Florence Ave (the F line went beyond Florence, to 116th St.). The portion south of about 63rd St was in center-of-the-road private right-of-way. I dont recall any short turn crossover between 39th St and Florence Ave.
