Rail Grinder 9310 in the Pepper Yard on June 30 1947. This is the rail grinder. It really only went out at night. Ray Ballash and I encountered this car once on 7th at McArthur (Westlake) Park, after a lengthy strike had ended, about 1957 or so. What a show of showers of sparks.
