Santa Clara, Valley Transportation Authority 850 and Sacramento RTD 101, their oldest car, at Sacramento RTD's Academy Way shop, June 19, 2001. Cam Beach arranged this.  RTD is considering buying 30 UTDC high floor cars from Santa Clara's VTA at about $200,000 each.  Salt Lake City (UTA) is interested in the other 20.  VTA is in the process of replacing all their present cars with new low floor LRV's from Japan, all with local money.  Interesting!
