Kankakee
North Kankakee Electric Railway Co.
North Kankakee Electric Light & Railway Company (Kankakee's other streetcar company which operated one line from downtown Kankakee north to Bourbonnais) streetcar 114 at the north end of the line at St. Viateur College in Bourbonnais, Illinois in July 1918.  This streetcar was part of a two car series (114 & 116)  obtained new from McGuire-Cummings in 1917 to replace the original single truck streetcars.  After streetcar service was bused on November 30, 1932, these two streetcar  bodies became storage sheds (covered with tar paper and with a peak roof added) in the back yard of a Kankakee resident; one body went to the Illinois Railway Museum in late 2003 (what car number is involved currently is unknown) and the other body went to the Kankakee Railway Museum (currently stored inside a warehouse awaiting restoration for an indoor display.)
