Middlesex & Boston
This view shows early Boston Elevated cars at Lake Street Terminal on Commonwealth Avenue.  For those who know today's Green Line in Boston, Lake Street is the end of the B Boston College line.  When the M&B was running, cars from Lake Street out into Newton the station was in the middle of the road.  This picture is looking into Newton from Boston.  Note the passing track for through trips into downtown Boston.  The M&B park Norumbega was located at the end of Commonwealth Avenue in Newton by the Charles River.
