This is Car #11, a box motor built in 1913 by Russell Car Co. of Ridgeway, Pa. for the New York, Auburn, and Lansing, later the Central New York Southern, otherwise known as the "Ithaca-Auburn Short Line".  Location is probably near South Lansing, since only a short portion of the route was electrified.  Through service was provided by steam trains and McKeen cars.
