Rochester
New York State Railways
Car 856 (Kuhlman 1913) on the MONROE line is discharging a crowd of shoppers opposite the landmark Sibley Department Store in downtown Rochester in November 1940.  All Rochester surface streecars were abandoned March 31, 1941.  The Monroe Street line quit February 18, 1941.  The empty Sibley's building is still there.
