82 near Beatty Rd just east of the Bowling Green Stop at Providence Road at the Media borough line in the late 1950s. fare collection system, otherwise known as "pay as you leave."

During afternoon rush, Red Arrow used a "booster motorman" system, with a second operator boarding at Beatty Rd while the regular operator walked through the car to collect zone and base fares, ringing them up on an electric register. To speed boarding at 69th St from Market-Frankford Subway Elevated or the PandW, Red Arrow trolleys outbound from the terminal used a "pay in the country" fare collection system, otherwise known as "pay as you leave."
