Pennsylvania Railroad Electrics
The AC motors
GG-1
This shot and the next were taken at Juniata Shops in Altoona after a mail train sideswiped a derailed trailer train at Frazer, PA in 1960.  The 4871  skidded out into a cornfield about 45 degrees from the right of way on its side and is proof that the GG-1 was indestructible.  It was completely rewired and rebuilt.
