San Diego Trolley
An early photo of National City 24th Street Station in 1982, with a train headed for the border when the line was single track with turnouts. Construction next to the trolley is the project to double track the line. Service started on July 26,1981 and it was an imediate success, so much so that the original 14 cars were inadequate to handle the loads, and single track was inadequate to handle more trains
