51 and 282 on North Avenue in New Rochelle looking towards Huguenot Street. North Avenue used to be a narrow street, but it was widened in the 1930s.
The cars in the view are on the J (Hudson Park) and L (Glen Island) lines, both of which were abandoned on August 1 1939
