126 was built in July 1935 and is seen shortly thereafter plying the Broadway line passing Columbus Circle. It lasted until the end of service in November 1952. 126 and other lightweight cars of it type were replaced on the Broadway line by the Huffliners in 1937 and 1938. The Broadway line was motorized on December 15, 1946. 126 did indeed survive until the very end when the Yonkers division was motorized in November 1952.
