22 in a Jones Car Co builder photo.
The dash reads "MERIDEN ... AND LAKE ...", and when I blew up the image I could make out the first part of "Southington" next to "Meriden" and the first part of "Compunce" next to "Lake".
The line had 4 Jones 15-bench open cars, built in 1899 and numbered 1, 3, 5, and 7, which became ConnCo 506-509 in Meriden, and then went to New London. Not sure why this shows as 22.
