A very rare photo of car 112, one of a small group of Peter Witt "War Board Cars" built during World War I by the American Car Company. The only other cities that received similar cars were Shreveport LA and Atlanta GA and very few photos of these cars are known to exist. The Waterbury and Milldale had two; the other being 114.
This photo was taken on September 10 1933. The line abandoned its 4.7 miles of track on October 29 1933. At its peak, it operated six cars over 9.2 miles of track.
