8430 on Rt 3 turning at Penn and Bridge, near Frankford Depot.
8430 was the last to operate on the city portion of Rt 55 on Friday June 27 1952. later transferred from Luzerne to Frankford in March 1953, where it began operation on Rt 3.
On Christmas Day, 1955, it was transferred from Frankford to Ridge when Rt 3 was moved to that depot for its final rail days and Rt 5 (a PCC line since 1948) was converted to bus operation. Both lines closed Frankford Depot as a rail division.
