Indianapolis Railways cars at the W Washington St Shops on the storage tracks just west of the sheds, sometime between 1934 and 1948. How do we know? All were built by Brill 1932 (101-125) and 1934 (126-190). The cars are all in the original blue and yellow paint. The red/cream with front triangle was introduced about 1948.

The two left-most cars are 1934 models (126-190) the other 4 are 1932 (101-125). The 1934s had protuding front marker lights and a route sign box.

The 1934s also have larger head signs, and the doors were extended below the treadle on the outside of the car.

The 1932s, which were always on the Illinois-Shelby line (which I rode to high school every day) had small green marker lens on the front header, no route sign box and the doors closed at the bottom inside on the treadle.
